To feel how the seed of your intentions grows and breaks through to the surface, try this meditation practice tomorrow and over the weekend.
✨ Play gentle, meditative music and close your eyes. Sit quietly with your thoughts for a few moments. Imagine a screen in front of you where your thoughts appear and disappear like comets, flashing and leaving a trail behind.
Relax your body. A breathing exercise will help us enter this meditative state. Begin with an exhale, then inhale, counting down from 108. Count silently in your mind: 108 exhale, 108 inhale, 107 exhale, 107 inhale, and so on, down to one. Focus on the point between your eyebrows.
✨ Mentally picture a well before you. You approach it and see steps winding down inside. As you descend, you reach a horizontal tunnel. You walk through the tunnel and emerge at an ocean. A warm crimson sunset lights up the space, a gentle wind blows, and waves wash in and out. On the shore, you see a boat where your guide is seated (this may be a figure like the Wise One or the Mother, whichever feels closer to you), waving you over. You board the boat, and your guide begins to row toward the sunset.
You feel the gentle rise and fall of the waves, a rhythm that becomes part of your body. You sail toward the setting sun to discover Truth, Purpose, and your calling. The waves’ vibrations blend with your heartbeat. You begin to feel your heart center, the Anahata chakra, vibrating and filling every cell of your body with the divine light of love, uniting you with the Universal Truth that helps you remember what is meant to be.
✨ Spend some time in this space with your feelings, your state, and the light of Divine Love and Truth. Then, take a deep breath in, exhale, and with your next inhale, open your eyes. Return to the here and now.
