Shake a dead tree as much as you like — you won’t get any fruit from it… but that is not about today. Under the Full Moon of the Oak, we are not only closing the year and releasing its results and lessons. We are also feeding, with the “blood of our heart,” the wondrous fruits that will ripen into generous gifts for us during the Yule celebrations.

The Magical Door opens through release and readiness for the birth to come. Today we don’t rush anywhere; we can calmly look back, evaluate the path traveled and the effort invested. Let yourself remember all the wishes you made for this year — which came true, which stalled in growth, and which transformed into completely different goals and plans. Reassess your journey — and if needed, don’t cling to outdated values. Rewrite your dreams in a way that fills them with the true strength and light of your soul.

🙏 Call upon the Gods and Spirits — they respond especially sensitively to our requests now. But also take responsibility for the promises you give in your prayers. Even better — show your sincerity and determination beforehand by spending the days before Yule in a voluntary ascetic practice (a personal sacrifice, fasting, or giving up certain pleasures).

The more honest your readiness, the more sincere the “blood of your heart,” the greater your energetic contribution to the future — and the stronger and more unmistakable the response that will return to you.
