🌿 Reminder: Today, we begin the course on Amulet Magic, “Plant Amulets, Magical Pouches, and Witch Bottles,” where we’ll explore one of the oldest traditions—plant-based magic through natural amulets, talismans, and charms.

Nature magic is the oldest form known to humanity. Natural forces were reflected in the first faces of the Gods across various cultures and pantheons, back when people didn’t yet worship deities but personified thunder, wind, rain, lightning, sun, and moon. It was the properties of natural materials that humanity first came to know.

🌷 Using trees, herbs, flowers, stones, and minerals for healing, protection, and attracting favorable and unfavorable forces has been a practice for as long as humanity has existed. In ancient manuscripts and texts, we find mentions of using nature’s gifts for a variety of purposes.

Natural magic includes trees, herbs, flowers, stones, minerals, volcanic lava, sand, soil, and water. It also encompasses animal parts—snake skins, fur, feathers, fat, and bones. All of these elements were used extensively in shamanic, healing, and magical practices from the earliest times.

Some ingredients served as components for potions and ointments. Others were used as symbolic infusions of power—shamanic garments were made of hides, fur, and feathers, filling the wearer with the strength of animals and birds. Certain plants were burned as incense to alter consciousness, while others were hung at the entrance of a dwelling for protection. Warriors rubbed herbs on their bodies for strength in battle and on hunts, and herbs were used to heal wounds and relieve pain.

🌻 In this course, we’ll dive into plant magic specifically, learning how to use it to cleanse and protect our lives and spaces, and how to fill these elements with the energies we need. Join us ⬇️⬇️⬇️
