Lately, I’ve often encountered requests for help with speech issues in both adults and children. These issues manifest in various ways: some people stutter, others struggle to express their thoughts verbally, and some experience fear or anxiety around communication.
The causes also vary: some stem from psychological factors such as emotional pressure, stress, or fear, while others may involve negative magical influences. Ultimately, all these disruptions are reflected in the Vishuddha chakra, where they become visible during diagnostic assessments.
Vishuddha is the throat chakra that governs our ability to communicate, express ourselves, speak, and create. Disruptions in this energy center can lead to heightened emotional instability, lack of self-confidence, difficulties in communication, introversion, and speech problems.
Therefore, the work to correct speech issues should begin with restoring the balance of the Vishuddha chakra. Psychotherapeutic methods for addressing speech issues often include activities like singing, drawing, and other creative tasks that involve fine motor skills.
These methods for restoring Vishuddha can also be used when the cause of the speech problem is negative magical influence, such as a curse or the evil eye. Such practices should be performed after cleansing rituals.
There are also magical ways to address speech problems, and knot magic rituals are particularly effective. This effectiveness may be linked to the involvement of fine motor skills or the symbolic nature of knots, which can represent speech itself. In either case, this approach can greatly aid in speech improvement.
Here’s a simple knot magic ritual for speech improvement that even children can perform:
Take three thick threads or cords in white, light blue, and dark blue. Tie them together with a knot and begin braiding them. The person experiencing speech problems should do the braiding and recite the spell. While braiding the cords, repeat the following:
As the river runs, it speaks to me,
So I braid this cord and speak with the river.
Three waves in the river, three threads in the braid.
White for courage,
Blue for flow,
Dark blue for strength.
I weave the wave into my braid,
May my speech flow like the river,
May my words speak like the waves—
Courageous,
Swift,
Strong.
If the ritual is for a child too young to recite the spell or braid on their own, hold their hands and braid together, reciting the spell yourself while they repeat along with you.
Repeat the spell seven times while braiding the cord, so ensure the threads are long enough. At the end of the braid, tie a knot and leave the loose ends hanging. Do not cut them.
Place the braid under the pillow. Perform this ritual for seven days, creating a new braid each day. During this time, do not change the bedding. By the end of seven days, you will have seven braids under the pillow. On the final night, leave them under the pillow. The next day, wrap all the braids together in three layers of fabric: white first, then light blue, and finally dark blue. Store them in a dark place, such as a dedicated box.
Do not open the box or unwrap the braids until the person’s speech issues have been resolved. Once speech improves, unwrap the braids and release them one by one into a river. If no river is nearby, separate the threads under running tap water (by hand, without cutting them), then bury them beneath a tree in a park or forest.
