In the “Elemental Magic” course, we study the system of interaction between all four elements in the processes and phenomena of the inner and surrounding worlds.

By popular request from my readers not yet enrolled in the course, I am sharing some insights on how the elements move through any process in our reality—including the manifestation of desires and materialization of intentions.

Every process—whether in our body, in the external world, or in the interaction between the two—sequentially passes through all four elements: Air, Fire, Water, and Earth.

💨 Air: Decision and dissemination.
🔥 Fire: Purification and transformation.
💦 Water: Flow and filling.
🌱 Earth: Preservation and stabilization.

Let’s take the example of creating something or manifesting a desire:

💨 Air: The Power of Thought and the Emergence of an Idea

The process begins with Air—where ideas are born. For an idea to progress, it must transform into intention and gain the power of Fire—essentially “igniting” the Air (as we often say, “spark an idea”).

Risk at the Air Stage: The idea may “blow away with the wind” if you linger too long in this stage. To avoid this, don’t overthink or discuss the idea endlessly. Once the foundation is laid, move forward, or there will be no energy left for Fire’s transformative process. Conversations and planning are crucial at this stage, but avoid sharing too much with outsiders.

For Transition: Action is necessary. Fire represents action and energy.

🔥 Fire: The Power of Transformation

Fire purifies, burns away the unnecessary, and propels the idea forward along the Air currents, initiating visible and active movement.

Risk at the Fire Stage: Over-burning or burning out completely. Spending too long in Fire’s intensity can deplete resources. Emotional nourishment from Water is essential to sustain the process. The initial passionate steps taken under Fire must transition into steady and adaptable motion.

For Transition: Love for the process, emotional involvement, and support from others are key.

💦 Water: The Power of Emotion and Fulfillment

Unlike Fire, which is volatile and difficult to control, Water adapts to its surroundings and fosters collaboration. Water’s flexibility helps shape the idea to fit the realities of the external world.

Risk at the Water Stage: Spreading the process too thinly among too many people or drowning in emotions, doubts, and worries. To solidify and stabilize the result, a transition to Earth is needed.

For Transition: Confidence in yourself and your surroundings, resilience in achieving goals, and a focus on tangible, material results.

🌱 Earth: The Power of Stability and Preservation

Earth represents the manifestation of results and the materialization of the original intention.

Risk at the Earth Stage: Prolonged stagnation. Once results are stabilized, it’s important to set the process into a new cycle of development.

For Transition: A new idea is required to restart the process.

This sequence of elemental movement applies not only to human creativity but also to other processes, from the creation of the universe to the birth of a child.
