The energies now are drawing our attention to the importance of setting the right intentions and moving with awareness, so we don’t miss anything we’ve set out to do. We must stay sharply focused on our goal and move toward it without being distracted by external obstacles.
Just as a bird flies through the sky with clear landmarks, so too must we find our own guiding signs in our spiritual journey and follow them faithfully.
This week, observe birds, flying insects, and clouds—what messages do they carry for you? And if you find a feather on the ground, be sure to bring it home—it will become your talisman. Take your feather (or even better, two), wrap them together with thread, and add beads or pendants that call to you. Hang this talisman at the head of your bed—any dream you have this week will be a message from the Divine.
We can also find support and guidance within our own bodies, through physical sensations:
Check in with yourself: Briefly describe your current state—your emotions, bodily sensations, and thoughts. What brings joy? What causes unease? What triggers resistance?
Grounding exercise:
- Take a deep breath in and out.
- Tune in to the sounds around you, shifting your focus from one sound to another.
- Feel your body, concentrate on your breath, and count 10 inhales and 10 exhales.
- Focus on the point between your eyebrows.
- Visualize a large screen displaying the “movie” of your life—watch it as a detached observer.
- Then return to your breath, bodily sensations, and sounds.
- Take another deep breath, and as you exhale, open your eyes.
- Sum up your state in three words.
Daily practice: Each day this week, check in with yourself—your emotions, bodily sensations, and thoughts. By the end of the week, ask yourself: Which of these states would I like to change, and which would I like to keep?
