The upcoming pre-holiday week feels like a delicate bridge between ending and beginning, a moment when the year seems to pause on an inhale before a new exhale. We are leaving the final days of the old cycle behind while already touching the first threads of the future.

I’ve already written about the traditions of Yuletide, where each of its days carries the matrix of one of the months of the coming year. That makes this time especially “dense”: there are no random gestures, words, or inner states now. This year, New Year’s Day coincides with the final day of Yuletide — the Day of Words — which means that everything spoken aloud, thought through, or even silently formulated energetically shapes the entire year of 2026. So this is not just about tradition, but about the very energies of transition — it’s no coincidence that people say, “As you welcome the New Year, so you will live it.”

💎 The energies of this week tune us to physical sensations and to interaction with reality here and now, in the material world.

The focus shifts away from abstract plans and anxious thoughts toward presence, sensation, and contact with what is tangible. This is a time when feeling grounded becomes especially valuable — literally sensing the floor beneath your feet, the warmth of a cup in your hands, the rhythm of your own breath. Through such simple yet vivid moments, we ground ourselves and regain stability. Before dreaming big, make sure you are here, you exist, and you feel.

Since the week emphasizes embodiment and the home as a visible symbol of our inner “self,” it is an ideal time to care for your health, appearance, and the space around you. Dedicate time to decorating and beautifying your home. Take care of your body. Give yourself attention and care so you can feel full of strength and energy.

🎀 During these days, festive energies become almost tangible, allowing us to sense the beauty and wholeness of our existence.

It is especially important now to feel connection and harmony within yourself and in your interaction with the world around you. Immerse yourself in this deep sense of unity, explore how open you are to life, to people, to change — and how much you allow the world to be open to you in return.

Each day of this week carries the message that everything is in our hands and that we have the ability to shape our lives the way we truly want. This is not about rigid control or tense self-pressure, but about learning to attune yourself to the greater flow. When we stop resisting and learn to hear the rhythm of what is happening, energy begins to work for us, opening the right (and very magical) doors exactly when we are ready to step through them.

🏠 On the threshold of the New Year, it is also important to remember the power of the bonds that connect us with loved ones, and to consciously choose who will be by our side at key moments of life.

It is no coincidence that, before the holiday, the question so often arises: with whom will I celebrate the New Year? This is not merely about planning a festive evening — it reflects the state of your relationships. If you don’t feel like having someone near you at this important moment of transition, perhaps it’s time to reconsider what “closeness” with these people really means, and whether these connections truly support you and bring happiness and understanding.

Even difficult realizations and the re-evaluation of relationships are deeply beneficial now. They help you enter the next phase of life with greater awareness and a clearer sense of your path. In this sense, the question “With whom should I celebrate the New Year?” naturally transforms into a deeper and more defining one: “Who am I truly meant to walk this path with?”

By choosing your circle consciously, you choose the quality of your future. May those beside you support your light, inspire you to be yourself, and help you move forward without unnecessary struggle.
