This is the time of bright, wide, and open roads. But in some situations, it’s difficult not only to take the first step but even to make the right choice. For this, you first need to cut off and close other paths that drain your energy. Only then can you begin moving forward.

The Gypsy road-closing ritual will help if you want to put an end to an unpleasant situation (for yourself or a loved one) that keeps pulling you back—whether physically or emotionally—and prevents you from moving forward. For this, we will use a crossroads—a fork in life’s paths.

For the ritual, stand at the center of the crossroads. Pick up a stone with your left hand, then use your right ring finger (moistened with saliva) to write a name (your own or someone else’s) on the stone. Next, take a handful of dust in your right hand.

Close your eyes, turn clockwise, then open them and throw the stone down one of the roads in the direction you’re facing, whispering:

▶️ “A smooth road for me (or the person’s name)!”

Then close your eyes again, spin counterclockwise, open them, and throw the dust down another road, saying:

▶️ “Dust in the eyes of all who follow!”

To complete the ritual, spit at your feet and rub the spit into a cross shape—one line with your left foot, the other with your right. Say:

▶️ “The road is closed!”

Walk home in silence. Once there, look at yourself in the mirror, then wash your hands under running water. Only then may you speak again.
