Summer is gradually drawing to an end. Meadow flowers and herbs are fading and bearing their fruits, the sunny days are becoming fewer, we are preparing preserves for winter and gathering honey — thick, golden, and filled with the scents of summer.

To preserve this honeyed sweetness, the warmth of the sun, and the brightness of summer days throughout the long winter, I created the knotted amulet “Winter Honey.”

It was created as an energetic reserve of summer that you can carry with you into the colder months. The brightness and beauty of flowers, the gold and warmth of the sun, the lightness, joy, and playfulness that come so naturally in summer — all of this can be preserved within you and returned to whenever it is cold and dark outside and the next summer still seems a long way away.

For this amulet, I worked with the energies of fire agate and golden opal, which complement each other especially well in fulfilling its purpose:
